1998-2006
Eventually I will add some of the more memorable chase accounts. That is assuming I can find my old hi-8 tapes and then convert them all into digital video so I can get some still shots from the videos prior to 2004. From 2004 on, I took video with my mini-dv camcorder, so the still pictures should be better than my old hi-8 taken from grabbed video frames. Some of the highlights will include 5/1/01 NE Iowa Tornadoes, the 5/10/03 Lima, IL tornado, and the 5/29/04 tornadoes near Concordia, KS just to name a few. Hopefully I will find time to get off my lazy @$% and make the reports if I can find the old hi-8 tapes and also all of my mini-dv tapes. I don't have many still shots of my chasing events because it was just until recently that I acquired the proper equipment. Now I am armed with a Panasonic DMC-FZ20 5.0 digital still camera with 12x optical zoom and a Sony DCR-HC90 mini-dv camcorder (my low light special). So come back often as I will update my chase accounts often this year.
